Symbolic ceremony has the same course and attributes as civil ceremony with one significant difference – it is not official. Advantage of such ceremony is its total flexibility in terms of place and time. We will conduct the ceremony any place and any time you want. Ceremonies are conducted by experienced officiants, who will make sure your day will be unforgettable.

Symbolic ceremony is perfect for those couples who had their official ceremony somewhere abroad and now want to share the moment with their families. This kind of ceremony is often chosen by foreign couples, who want to marry in Prague but administrative process is too complicated.

How it works

Inquiry can be done via email or telephone, it should contain time, date and venue of the wedding
In case the date is available, we will send you personalized price quotation
For fixed reservation it is necessary to pay the deposit of 1000 CZK. Deposit is to be paid via bank transfer. If cancelled less than one month prior to the wedding, the deposit becomes non-refundable
We will send you short questionnaire to learn more about your wedding
We will send you our standard wedding speech for revision
One month before the wedding we will send you scenario of the ceremony
Personal meeting with the officiant usually occurs at the beginning of cooperation or any time before the ceremony

Transportation within Prague is free of charge, transportation out of Prague is charged with 12 CZK/km.

Composition of the ceremony scenario

We will prepare personalized scenario of your wedding ceremony. Standard symbolic ceremony is not official and does not include civil ceremony wording. However if you want it to look official we can provide all necessary requisites.

Composition of the wedding speech

Our standard speech can be changed or completely replaced by the speech of your choice. The speech can include your vows or blessings from your parents. Final wording of the speech is subject to your approval.
